3rd Annual Gala

LA on Cloud9 (LAC9), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is holding our Annual Awards Gala and Silent Auction Fundraiser. It is to recognize and honor our outstanding community volunteers and to raise funds to continue our mission. Our organization is based in South Los Angeles and promotes a humanitarian approach to address impoverishment, seeks to assist the homeless and disadvantaged and provide animal rescue assistance through a consistent variety of mechanisms and resources. LAC9 is a family-friendly organization that encourages social activism and social consciousness in our youth to prepare them to be our next generation of leaders, capable of facilitating change in our communities with compassion and kindness.
To help achieve our mission and goals, we are respectfully requesting your support
in one of the following ways:
- • Donate goods (in-kind donations) or services to our Silent Auction;
- • Purchase a Gala Sponsorship Package; and/or
- • Place an advertisement in our Gala Program.
Your support of this event is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable exposure and visibility with our event guests and volunteers, our entire community and establish leadership recognition as a business who is interested in providing growth opportunities for the well-being of the community.
100% of the proceeds will directly benefit those in need. We will purchase backpacks filled with school supplies for over 400 children. These items will be distributed during our MacArthur Park Community Event on August 27th so children in need can start their first day of school armed for success. All other proceeds will benefit over 1,000 members of our homeless community with basic survival necessities such as shampoo & conditioner, body wipes, toothbrushes & toothpaste, feminine products and deodorants.
