If you vote for LAC9, the $1,000 will help reach our goal of purchasing 100 sleeping bags and 100 camping tents to distribute to those persons and their pets, who are sleeping on the streets and sidewalks.

LA on Cloud9 holds monthly food and clothing giveaways at Skid Row, MacArthur Park and Martin Luther King Park. On a regular -sometimes daily- basis, the Cloud9 team also distributes all supplies and food received, while on foot, visiting known and not so known sites where homeless people reside. The resources they provide include applying medical flea treatment to pets, providing food for both pets and humans, hygiene items such as toothpaste and toilet paper, and distributing blankets and clothing. Sometimes during these visits people living on streets will surrender their pets to LA on Cloud9 volunteers and then Cloud9 partners with animal rescue groups to help those pets get placed with persons in good loving homes.

LA on Cloud9 is small but growing, making a tremendous positive impact in the homeless community and donates back all the resources and funds received. They also have a teen volunteer group that goes out with chaperones to help with food and clothing distribution as well. This outreach with the youth is helping develop these young teens and transform them into future adults that will be caring, responsible, and giving back to their Community.

HURRY, WE ONLY HAVE UNTIL JUNE 15th TO GET THE MOST VOTES.

Poor little EEYORE lived a rough life on the streets of South Central Los Angeles. He wondered into a kind lady’s backyard, she fed him and from there came the call for help.
Hope For Paws got an email about him, and at the same time, Claudia Perez, founder of L.A. on Cloud9 got the same email too. We agreed to work on this project together… Hope For Paws will handle the medical aspect, and Claudia will foster him until we find him a loving forever home.
Eeyore is now at our hospital… being treated for all his fungal and bacterial infections on his skin, his eyes, his ears – he is just a medical mess, but he will be OK from this point.

If you are interested in adopting Eeyore, please contact www.LAAR.org
